Are you an LGBTQ youth between the ages of 14 and 18 who is interested in photography? Are you also interested in making change in your community? Then outLOUD is for you!

outLOUD is a 5 week group for LGBTQ youth in Waterloo Region. Group participants will learn basic photography skills and create a photo-text piece representing their experiences being LGBTQ. All the pieces created by group members will then be used as a travelling photo-text exhibit, combating homophobia through education and further understanding of the issues LGBTQ youth face.

outLOUD will run Wednesday evenings from 6:00-8:00 pm starting July 30, 2008 for 5 consecutive weeks. SPACE IS LIMITED! If you are interested please contact Brooke at 519-884-0000 x212 or brooke@kwcounselling.com .

Don't have a camera? No problem! Cameras will be provided. This group is FREE and CONFIDENTIAL. Assistance with transportation available via GRT bus tickets.
